Greyhound rescue and rehoming group Friends of the Hound were one of a number of local charities on display at Best Friends Pet Super Centre at South Tweed on Saturday.
The groups were part of the new store’s final grand opening weekend.
Along with the greyhounds and their friends were representatives of Story Dogs – a local group helping Primary School children with their reading as well as the National Pet Register.
The event also included a sausage sizzle, face painting and Billy, who created balloon animals for the kids.
The event was aimed at raising awareness and money for the charities.
