A POINT Cook man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after he was allegedly shot in the arm earlier this month.
Armed Crime Taskforce detectives are the incident that occurred in Melton on Friday 1 March.
“Investigators believe multiple shots were fired into vehicles in an industrial estate in Norton Drive just before 10pm,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“At least three vehicles were damaged during the incident.”
Two men later presented at the Royal Melbourne Hospital with what are believed to be gunshot wounds.
A 38-year-old Point Cook man remained in hospital overnight with serious injuries to his arm while a 28-year-old Melton man was treated for superficial injuries and released.
“Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and assist them with their investigation,” the spokesperson said.
