Futsal gets a Brazilian kick

WINTER is here – which means Futsal is in full swing.
On Monday 23 June the winners of the Futsal at Mid North Coast school teams will travel to Coffs Harbour for the second round, which will see the Lismore, Grafton and Coffs Harbour teams play off against the Hastings teams.
“We have 12 teams competing on the day and we know our strengths and hopefully we should have a number of teams into the champion’s round to be held in Sydney in July,” spokesperson Alison Fazzolari said.
“Rod Rowe at Camden Haven has some well drilled teams and also the St Columba Anglican School.
“Camden Haven offers Futsal as a subject for their year-nine pupils with Futsal at Mid North Coast and this shows in the success of their school teams in these competitions.”
Futsal Mid North Coast is also running another school holiday clinic on Wednesday 2 July and Thursday 3 July with exciting Brazilian Futsal player and academy coach Vinny Letie.
Vinny has been a national league player and coach in Brazil and played with Melbourne Heart in the FFA Futsal league.
The cost is $40 per session for up to 12 years and $50 for those over 13 years. Register early as there are limited numbers.
