RESIDENTS have been invited to take part in the Eid Festival in Newport on Sunday and Monday.
Organised by the Newport Islamic Society Western Suburbs and supported by Hobsons Bay City Council, the festival celebrates the end of Ramadan.
The event will feature rides, food, show bags, entertainment and competitions for all ages.
The festival is on Sunday 19 and Monday 20 August from 11am-10pm at Paisley Park, behind
Bayfit in Mason St, Newport.
The festival will end with a 15-minute fireworks display at 8.30pm on Monday.
