FOR many Brimbank residents, the pain and discomfort caused by arthritis is a daily struggle.
But there is some good news with workshops being given to learn more on how to manage the symptoms at the next Caesia Gardens health session.
Health presenter and qualified pharmacist Gerald Quigley will host Living with Arthritis, a session on the realities of living with the chronic disease.
“As part of the health information program we have been running at Caesia Gardens, Gerald will share advice on how people can incorporate a range of initiatives, such as exercise, diet, natural remedies and more, as a way to lessen the painful effects of arthritis,” Gail Monument from Caesia Gardens said.
“Arthritis affects people of all ages and from all walks of life; it’s a condition many have to manage on a daily basis. Our health sessions are all about providing relevant information in a comfortable and welcoming environment, and we’re very much looking forward to hosting Gerald.”
The workshop will be held at Caesia Gardens this Thursday 18 August, from 3pm and is open to people aged from 55.
