CAROLINE Springs Scouts are looking out for those less fortunate.
As part of their Caring and Sharing Challenge Badge, members of the first Caroline Springs Joey Scouts have formed a partnership with the St Albans Emergency Relief organisation in a bid to help struggling families.
The youngsters have been encouraging their friends and families to add one non-perishable food item to their weekly shopping list, then donate it to the cause.
A fortnight into the drive and the donations are mounting up.
The children, aged between 6-8 will be participating in a month of activities to learn about caring and sharing.
Spokeswoman Claire Mouser said the children were extremely excited to be helping disadvantaged community members.
Amelia, Noah and Melanie were busy counting their contributions last week.
