SPRING Hills Football Club players will be taking their game on the road. The club’s Under 12 team has been selected as one of only 20 Australian finalists to compete in the Volkswagen World Junior Masters Australia tournament next month. The winning team will represent Australia in Poland in 2012. Club president Tom Bendistino said it was a major achievement for the club, which began with just 50 children who played on a school oval five years ago. “Now, our club and our kids are being recognised as among the best junior soccer players in the nation,” he said.
