HOBSONS Bay City Council has received State Government funding to assist with planning for local economic development and community programs.
The Hobsons Bay joined Buloke Shire Council and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council for a Local Area Planning Integration project.
It also partnered Maribyrnong City Council, Moonee Valley City Council, Brimbank City Council and Melton Shire Council for the Western Region Integrated Health Planning Project.
A total of 26 grants of up to $150,000 would be distributed to the 61 councils involved in the projects.
