Students display uniform interest in war

SENIOR students at Bellbridge Primary School last week learnt about Australia at war.
The students spent the week looking at Australia’s historical involvement in the war, especially World War I.
“The focus has been on facts and the peace side of war, not giving opinion or commenting on the more sensitive side of our involvement,” said years 5 and 6 teacher Troy Johns.
Activities included making Anzac biscuits, playing two-up, watching historical news reels and dressing in period costumes to meet representatives from the local RSL.
