Students just slip into Grease

By Christine de Kock
STUDENTS at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College will take part in the musical extravaganza Grease from 23 to 25 August.
The Braybrook based students will perform at the Clock Tower Centre in Moonee Ponds.
Drama teacher Nic Ridge said students from years seven to 12 would take part in the musical.
“The college is well known for staging theatre productions of a high standard,” he said.
“The college recently won an Achievement Award for Satirical Theatre, this was at the Monash University Arts Centres 11th Schools Theatre Festival in June.”
This is the second year the college staged the production at the Clocktower Centre.
“The success of previous shows has encouraged the move to a larger theatre space capable of housing larger audiences,” Mr Ridge said.
