HOME buyers got a sneak peak at Taylors Hill’s first apartment development last weekend with the official launch of Sanctum Apartments.

At the launch of the display suites keen buyers were offered their first choice at pre-sales of a total of 81 premium properties.

Developer Novo Apartments director Tony Culina said the lavish properties would provide a secure, enclosed community, suitable for young families and retirees.

Mr Culina said the apartments were the first of their kind in the area and represented the changing demographic in the City of Melton.

Due for completion in mid-2014, the four-storey apartment complex will feature resort-style facilities like a pool and gymnasium, and a number of community entertainment spaces.

Each of the one and two bedroom apartments, starting at $268,000, will come with a balcony or a courtyard, in addition to a car parking space and storage unit.

“It is very pleasing to be launching the Sanctum Apartments and set about delivering the first development of its kind in Taylor’s Hill that will prove to be a quality investment for owner-occupiers and investors and provide wonderful place for residents to live,” Mr Culina said.

“We aim to give residents the option of resort-style living in the suburbs, while bringing back a sense of community and connection that is increasingly becoming lost with the fast-paced lifestyle that we all lead.”

The display suite is located at the development site at the corner of Taylors Rd and Calder Park Drive Taylors Hill and will be open 12pm to 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm or by appointment.
