SMILING faces and carnival rides returned to Werribee over the weekend when the annual Weerama Festival was held in Watton St.
The annual festival took over Watton St for the weekend, departing from the one-day schedule of previous years.
Multicultural performers, a fireworks display and a youth talent competition were just some of the highlights of this year’s festival.
Werribee CBD road closures meant that residents and visitors were able to enjoy the market stalls and street food at their own pace.
