The NSW State election is now just a week away, with four candidates standing for the seat of Tweed.
Current sitting member Geoff Provest from the National Party will have his name at the top of the ballot paper following the ballot draw at Tweed Heads.
He was not at the draw, conducted by returning officer, Len Sparreboom, at the Electoral commission headquarter in Wharf Street, Tweed, due other commitments, with the visit to the region of Shadow Minister for Emergency Service NSW, Melinda Pavey, to launch the Nationals/Liberals Water Safety Policy.
Young Labou candidate Reece Byrnes will occupy the second spot on the ballot, while the Green s candidate, Andrea Vickers, arrived late but just in time to see her name come out in third spot.
The last place on the ballot will be filled by Christian Democratic Party member Corinne Pennay.
There are 23 polling places in the electorate. The polling places are listed on the right of this page.
