The Suns shine on Blues’ training

Tweed Coolangatta’s junior players came face to face with their idols last week when several Gold Coast Suns Aussie Rules players came to Len Peak Oval, Kirra.
The players included former Collingwood player Josh Fraser, Coolangatta’s own Marc Lock (who was once an Under-12 at Len Peak) and Josh Toy and Piers Flanagan.
All junior players stayed after training for the club’s yearly ‘Pie night’, after working up a hunger while training with the Suns.
The Suns players were happy to train with the boys and took them for some skills coaching as well as signing the kids’ Suns jerseys and footballs.
