Free events showcase new building project

Celebrated Over 55s project, Serene Living, is launching free social events to showcase the lifestyle on offer at its Tweed Heads project – the fastest selling of its kind in Australia.
The ‘Lifestyle By Serene’ free events include photography lessons, a social media workshop, a wine appreciation course, a gourmet cooking show by celebrity chef Steven Snow and even aqua aerobics.
Serene Living director Ben Fuller said Lifestyle by Serene is a community engagement program designed to provide locals and potential buyers with a taste of the community spirit and lifestyle options they will enjoy at Serene Living.
“Serene Living is more than luxury apartments, it’s a lifestyle. At Serene Living, residents will become part of a socially active community and that’s the ethos behind Lifestyle by Serene,” he saids.
“Residents can do as little or as much as they like whilst enjoying social functions, events, outings and much more. We have carefully designed Serene Living with lifestyle in mind and these events will offer a glimpse into our vision.
“If someone is already a ‘Fred Astaire’ on the dance floor or already has perfected the Jack Nicklaus golf swing, then perhaps sign on for the photography course, titled ‘more than just pushing buttons’ or the aqua aerobics. We want everyone to try new activities, which is why we have chosen such a diverse range of events.
“Learn about social media and Facebook so you can keep track of your grandkids or check out celebrity chef Steven Snow performing a live cooking show. It’s all free and it’s a way that we can demonstrate the kind of lifestyle benefits that are part of the Serene Living experience.”
Lifestyle by Serene was launched at a special Back to The Tivoli show that Serene Living provided free to more than 1000 guests on Friday, July 1.
Mr Fuller said the Back to The Tivoli show was created to say thank you to the supporters of the project over the last 10 months that has led to the project being the best-selling over 55s project in Australia, ever.
“Since launching Serene Living, we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from our local community. Tickets to Back to the Tivoli were given to those who have visited the Serene Living display since opening and leading up to the show. This was just a small token to say thank you,” says Mr Fuller.
“There are only 280 places available for the ‘Lifestyle by Serene’ events. We encourage people to try things that are unfamiliar to them and try something new.
“We urge interested people to enquire quickly, as we have limited availability for each event and we don’t expect opportunities to last for long. We hope this provides people with a glimpse into the fun, social and enjoyable lifestyle that Serene Living will provide.”
Setting a new eco benchmark for living green, Serene Living offers residents Australia’s largest rooftop garden with over a quarter of an acre of perfectly manicured, landscaped gardens.
Complete with vegetable gardens and blossoming trees, the spacious rooftop sanctuary features three barbeque areas, separate entertaining spaces, ample lounge chairs, comfortable seating and shaded picnic areas, complemented by the panoramic, picturesque views of the Tweed surrounds.
Along with the rooftop garden, the up-market project will offer more than 50 services and facilities, including a luxurious cinema, library, residents’ club car, heated pool and spa, gymnasium, games room and innovative smart home wiring technology, ensuring the safety and security of residents.
The Serene Living display office is located across from the building site, next to the greens of the Tweed Bowls Club and is open from 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday). The building site is located on the corner of Florence St and Florence Place, Tweed Heads.  For further information, please phone (07) 5599 3328 or visit www.sereneliving.com.au.
