I am concerned as a member of the public paying for the continued existence of the ABC as a non- commercial independent provider.
How independent is the ABC when programming exalts the female gender in a subjective way?
I include the program Landline with so-called female farmers filmed prominently when the real success of their farms depend on their male counterparts, often their husbands. I often wonder if the male counterpart would have been readily interviewed — if he was weak and wussy. I presently have deep concerns at the present drift of the ABC as an apparent broad ‘church’ that is compromising.
