Scott is on the right track?

Scott is on the right track ‘NSW Solar and Energy Summit’ 13/7. I advise readers to tune into Prof Bob Carter’s website; he will be talking to a ‘No to carbon tax’ rally in Tamworth on July 21 and another rally on August 14 in Tamworth.
Tony Windsor also says his electorate does support the carbon tax? Well I’d like that in black and white!
However, investing the government’s money in solar thermal is another matter and, for the last 10 years, there have been efforts to install a solar thermal plant in the Newcastle area which, when functioning well, can I believe, supply 250,000 homes. This is a good investment for the future when they can work out how to run it efficiently 24 hours a day?
Windmills do not function too well in high or low winds or cold weather nor has been found overseas able to supply all energy needs and have to be backed up by the main electricity grid.
What I strongly object to is the AGW reason for turning to clean energy (there is none by the way) and introducing taxes on CO2 when the present government’s proposed legislation will do nothing to cut carbon emissions, as the EU and UK and the USA have found.
China, Canada and the US will not renew their 2012 Kyoto agreement. Doesn’t that tell you something? Germany are now putting money into more coal fuelled power plants after they shut down the nuclear plants.
Tony has said he would not support the carbon tax if it did nothing to change the climate, and this proposed carbon tax will not cut emissions. Even if CO2 affected climates, that it doesn’t, then in my opinion, he has gone back on his assurances to the electorate.
