ANNE Fuller celebrated her 70th birthday in April and continues to play hockey in the local competition.
Anne has been playing hockey since she was 17 and has only stopped to have her two children.
She has represented NSW in the over 55s at Adelaide and the over 60s in Tasmania at the National Vets (now Masters) competition.
She enjoys playing in the State competition every year, playing with the local girls and seeing the many friends she has made over the years.
Anne has played with the Classic Hockey Club since its start 27 years ago.
Although she may have lost bit of speed and reaction time, she certainly makes up with experience and a good solid hit on the ball.
