Winners hit the track

Aaron Westerlund - open men’s singles champion, with club president Rob Nienhuis.

TOP conditions for greyhound racing greeted council staff for the annual Armidale Dumaresq Council Outdoor Workers Day race meet.
The $100 club was won by Ernie (for about the third time) and Watto. One of the boys cleaned the poor bookie out when he backed the Caulfield Cup winner Faulkner at $11.
Racing saw Glenreagh trainer Gary Streatfield land a double Race Four with Turbulant Times and Race Five Glenreagh Magic.
It was also good to see Tamam Shud win for popular trainer Ben Vidler from Guyra.
One greyhound to watch could be the Dennis Nixon trained Kikem Babe, it’s very close to a win.
The next meeting at Armidale will be Saturday 30 November with the Barbarians Rugby Club supporting the day once again.
