THE FESTIVE spirit was well and truly alive at the Armidale Mall on Saturday as hundreds of families flocked for the Christmas events and activities.
Music and dancing displays, as well as a visit from Santa, made it a terrific success, according to deputy mayor Jenny Bailey.
“It went much better than last year and has given us a good springboard for next year,” she said.
“To see all the kids in the mall with their mums and dads waiting for Santa was terrific and good for the mall.”
