NEW LIFE was injected into the Armidale mall last Thursday as thousands of oragami butterflies fluttered next to the Tattersall’s Hotel.
Shoppers and staff took the time to stop and admire the colourful display, created by Armidale artists Genevieve Tavener, pictured and the students at St Mary’s Primary School.
More than 3000 butterflies were created for the one-day art piece, described as Ms Tavener as “a labour of love”.
The art was created to mark the International Day of Disability.
