Medals returned

In brief

TWO months after being stolen, a set of war medals have been returned to an Armidale woman.
Beverley Jenkins went to check the mail last Wednesday and found her late father Harold’s World War II medals in her letter box.
They were stolen in December after a break-in at Mrs Jenkins’ Armidale home.
The medals were in a safe, which was ripped from the wall.
Police have checked for fingerprints on the medals, but are yet to make an arrest.
