A GROUP of Armidale residents is planning a rally for March in March on Saturday 15 March at 2pm in Central Park.
March in March is a grassroots movement which seeks to engage Australians across the political spectrum promoting an inclusive and more caring vision of Australia.
Armidale organiser Liz O’Hara said the march would give Armidale residents a chance to view their opinions on national issues.
“Whether you are concerned over the destruction of farm land and water resources, proposed changes to Medicare, climate change, the treatment of refugees, the potential devastation of our Great Barrier Reef, March in March provides an opportunity to express your dissent and send a clear message to our political leaders,” she said.
Organisers of March in March meet at the Armidale Club on Wednesdays at 6pm.
