Moore stars in Easts win

DEAN Moore put Easts in the box seat to make the finals of the Armidale District Cricket Association after leading his side to victory with bat and ball on Saturday.
After Easts batted first against Ex-Services at Lambert Park, Moore scored 90 to help his side post a formidable total of 8/235.
He had support from Ben Hanlan (74) and Nathan (24), while Servies conceded 31 extras with the ball.
Moore confirmed his man-of-the-match status with a five-wicket haul.
He finished with 5/30 from 7.1 overs as Ex-Services collapsed in response to the big run chase.
Only Brad Widders (30) and Will Green (10) scored double figures as Servies were bundled out for 68.
Skipper Sam Uphill also dominated with the ball, taking 4/23 from 10 overs.
* While first grade has another round to play, finals in the second and third grade competitions start this Saturday.
In second grade, Hillgrove and Guyra do battle at Harris Park, while Barbarians plays Ex-Services at Rologas.
Guyra hosts Hillgrove Colts in third grade, with TAS Blue and TAS White to meet at TAS Oval.
