ARMIDALE Rams have joined forces with the Armidale Ex-Services Club for the Group 19 rugby league season.
The partnership will see the installation of Servies signage around the ground in addition to prominent placement of the Rams’ first grade jerseys.
Rams president Terry Carson said sponsorship funds would allow the club to compete in the Group 19 competition, starting next month.
“This partnership is a great outcome for our club and we look forward to a successful year on and off the field with the great support of the Servies,” he said.
Servies CEO Scott Sullivan said it was a win-win for both clubs.
“This partnership fits really well with our goals in supporting the Armidale community and we are looking forward to a great year ahead for the Rams,” he said.
The Rams won the reserve grade title last year and are hoping that all four teams – first grade, reserve grade, under-18s and league tag – can make the finals in 2014.
