AUSTIN College students raised almost $4000 for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter at their annual charities dinner.
More than 250 residents, guests and staff gathered for the two-hour event, raising just over $3800.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s Barry Walton and Michael Wilson were the guest speakers and their presentation was followed by a night of fund-raising laughter – all organised by the hard-working student fund-raising committee.
The kissing booth proved popular, while the light-hearted slave auctions and raffles were a hit.
