Golfer hands out advice

Come down to the Coolangatta/Tweed Golf Club on Thursday at 10am to catch professional golfer Ross Moodie as he gives away a few golfing tips to the friends and future residents of the celebrated over 55s apartment project Serene Living.
This free social event is part of the Lifestyle by Serene Community activity program, an initiative for over 55s, which is proving popular with the active and young at heart.
Hackers looking to improve their swing will learn how to master the driver, perfect the putter, chip to win and adjust the stance to enable the combination to come together.
Serene Living director Ben Fuller said the program is about community engagement designed to provide locals and potential buyers with a taste of the community spirit and lifestyle options to be enjoyed at Serene Living.
“This is a great opportunity for those who are not very good at golf to learn some of the most important beginner tips to help improve their game,” he said.
“Serene Living is more than luxury apartments, it’s a luxury lifestyle. Residents will become part of a socially-active community and that’s the ethos behind what is Lifestyle by Serene.”
The Lifestyle by Serene free events also include beginner photography class,  ballroom dancing lessons, ancestry genealogy classes, a wine appreciation course, a gourmet cooking show by celebrity chef Steven Snow and a splash of aqua aerobics.
