STUNNING autumn weather set the scene at the PLC Armidale athletics carnival last week.
Girls from pre-kindergarten to Year 12 took part in the annual event, with teams from the four guilds (sport houses) – Wentworth (blue), Macquarie (yellow), Gregory (red) and Forrest (green) – doing battle for overall honours.
Wentworth Guild triumphed on the day, while Macquarie Guild won the impressive and highly competitive march past.
Teachers said they were impressed with the good sportsmanship and spirit shown by the students.
