Man stable after quad bike rolls

In brief

A 43-YEAR-OLD man was airlifted to Armidale Hospital in a stable condition on Monday after a quad bike rolled on top of him on a proprerty at Dundee near Glen Innes.
Emergency services were called just before 12.30pm after the man failed to navigate the quad bike over a log.
He suffered minor chest and back injuries.

Service remembered
ARMIDALE’S War Memorial Library is holding a display honoring the city’s fallen soldiers.
Items have been donated by the Armidale Folk Museum, the Armidale RSL Sub-Branch and staff of the library.
The display includes wartime memorabilia, wartime images, photos and information on local servicemen and women, general information and a book display.
The display also includes archival pictures and a description of the origins of the War Memorial Library, dedicated to the local servicemen and women who gave their lives.
The display is available for viewing during the library’s opening hours – 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-1pm on Saturdays.

THE second gathering of Armidale Young Professionals is being held at the Armidale Bowling Club tomorrow night.
