EASTER was ruined for a number of Armidale families after vandals spray painted cars and property in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Grant See and his partner Melissa Simper were woken by a work colleague after they had driven past the house and noticed graffiti on the car parked on the street.
The words “F— You” had been painted on their four-wheel drive.
Other cars in Faulkner Street and the area around Donnelly Street had also been vandalised.
“It did ruin Easter morning,” Mr See said.
“The girls were excited about getting up and getting their eggs and we spent hours cleaning spray paint off the car.”
Mr See said it took around five hours to remove the paint, some of which was unable to be removed.
“There’s still a bit of paint on the rubber seals and the door handle,” he said.
