ARMIDALE tradie Daryl Broadley was bashed by seven people in Tamworth on Friday night, with his two-year-old daughter witnessing the attack.
Mr Broadley said a group of men were walking up the street drinking cans of bourbon when one of them jumped on a ramp on his trailer and broke it.
The landscaper confronted one of the men about the damage and they started to bash him.
Mr Broadley suffered bruising, lacerations and bleeding.
Tamworth police are investigation the assault.

Rocks thrown
POLICE are investigation a group of teenagers who threw rocks at cars crossing the bridge near the Wicklow Hotel over the weekend.
Reports were made after several cars were damaged on Thursday and Friday night.
Police tried to catch the offenders, but were unable to do so. Anyone with information should call the Armidale Police Station on 6771 0699.

Late remembrance
MEMBERS of the public are invited to The Armidale School’s Anzac Day ceremony tomorrow at 7am.
Because of school holidays, TAS delayed its traditional service.
The guest of honour will be RAAF Squadron Leader Scott Harris, who finished his schooling at TAS in 1997.
Tomorrow’s service will include the reading of 103 former students and staff who gave their lives serving Australia from the Boer War to Afghanistan, including the three Sandilands brothers who died in World War II, and most recently, Lieutenant Michael Fussell who was killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The service will be held on Adamsfield, to the north of the school’s War Memorial Assembly Hall.
