Trio of Leos bring back Doo-Wop

The Lions Den, one of the most exciting Acts born in Queensland, is set to relive the legendary music of celebrated Doo-Wop male groups when they perform at Tweed Heads Bowls Club on Saturday, August 13.
This trio of Leos, consisting of three individually acclaimed and award-winning performers; Joel Gonzales, Daniel Mallari and Lloyd Saniel, specialise in spectacular harmonies and continue to amaze audiences with their vocal range, control and tone – reminiscent of the celebrated Doo-Wop male vocal groups formed in the 1950s when pop, gospel and rhythm and blues came together in a new style that later crossed over to the pop charts with unprecedented success.
The Lions Den, who lift audiences through positive, inspirational and high-spirited songs, have just returned from performances onboard the luxury cruise liner Dawn Princess as the Headline Act as the ship sailed out of Sydney Harbour to kick-start its 2011 World Cruise.
The audience response was overwhelming, with full house signs and standing ovations at every show.
Their fully-produced floor show appeals to all ages and features the timeless classics of renowned male group hit makers such as: The Platters, The Cascades, The Drifters, The Beatles, Bee Gees, Righteous Brothers and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, including a tribute from the smash hit musical The Jersey Boys. A show guaranteed to have the audience singing along and tapping their feet!
