‘The Weather and Your Health’ was nominated for two prestigious Melbourne Green Room Awards and will be the next exciting event in the TAS Hoskins Centre’s new seniors concert program ‘GraviTAS’ on Thursday. Armidale has been lucky enough to be included in this Victorian production’s national tour.
Written and performed by talented young actress Bethany Simons it also features actor Andrew Dodds in the enchanting story of a woman whose sunny outlook transcends the ups and downs of life. Set in Gilgandra on the banks of the Castlereagh River, this charming play paints a touching portrait of country life through one woman’s stories of young love, war-times, local dances and home-made sausage rolls.
Although part of ‘GraviTAS’, this production is appealing to all ages and will make a delightful morning’s outing for anyone who likes theatre that’s imaginative, inviting and uplifting.
