Guitar and Cello is an unusual combination of instruments but Armidale will have the chance to hear how magical they can sound in the Music on a Market Sunday concert at 12:30pm at the Uniting Church on 25 September 25.
Steve Thorneycroft and Eleanor Streatfeild will join together in a concert that features the key of A minor as expounded by Villa-Lobos, Piazolla and Schubert.
This is a not to be missed opportunity to hear two fantastic musicians working together in a rare context and exploring the sonic possibilities of their instruments.
Admission is free but donations are encouraged. Tea, coffee and sausages are available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
