The Guy Fawkes Heritage Horse Association Inc is holding an Open Day on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 1378 Guyra Road, Ebor.
There are many new horses from the National Park for sale, so come and have a look at the new arrivals. There are young horses, mares and foals and privately owned horses for inspection and sale on the day.
Horses for sale will be handled by Digby Foster showing the potential horse – human partnership. National Parks and Wildlife Service will be giving a demonstration and a talk on the removal of the horses from Guy Fawkes National Park. Laura Bignall and her GF mare are giving a “Mounted Archery” demonstration. Also there will be a presentation for the winners of the Guy Fawkes Heritage Horse Hi-point competition. GFHH merchandise will be for sale.
Gates open at 9.30am. Entry is $5 per person and kids under 12 are free, so come and join us for a great day out. Your purchase of homemade Morning Tea and Lunch from Diny’s Kitchen will go towards funding our new facilities and continued care of our horses.
