The Blenders are back at the TAS Hoskins Centre this Saturday October 29 for 2 concerts only at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
The Blenders are a fantastic 80 strong men’s chorus from the Gold Coast, who enjoy singing a large repertoire of a cappella music.
They range in age from 11 years to 80 years and are not just a group, “we are a community”, they said.
The Blenders have been eight times national chorus champions and twice silver medalists. In the Pan Pacific Chorus Championship they have won twice and have represented Australia in international competition – in 1999 (Anaheim, California) and again in 2007 (Denver, Colorado).
With new results just to hand The Blenders have won the large chorus section at the Pan Pacific and Australian titles and won a silver medal overall.
The Blenders have appeared on popular television shows such as the “Battle of the Choirs” and “Australia’s Got Talent”.
In 2009, when TAS opened the Hoskins Centre with a sell out concert, The Blenders were the opening attraction and thrilled the audience with their fantastic style of music. From a cappella music to barbershop quartets to a youth chorus The Blenders will entertain you.
Two concerts only on Saturday October 29, 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Book on line at www.trybooking.com/WPF or phone 02 6776 5878
