There has been an increase in the number of abandoned, dumped or surrendered kittens and puppies recently in Armidale, and the local branch of the RSPCA and the Companion Animal Shelter are struggling to cope with feeding and generally caring and then re-homing these innocent pets. It is really important for all pet owners to show responsibility and desex their pet at the five or six month mark so that we do not have these problems of over-population.

RSPCA kittens cost $140 and puppies $195, which includes desexing, vaccination, micro-chipping, worming and vet check.
