Banora grandmother instant millionaire

A Banora Point grandmother was one of two winners after last week’s Wednesday Lotto draw.
The grandmother, who purchased her winning ticket from Banora Point in Northern NSW was joined by a registered Players Club member who bought their winning ticket from the Sydney suburb of Campsie. Each won a $1 million division one prize.
The winning ticket was bought at the Banora Point Newsagency at Banora Point Shopping Village where the grandmother later returned to check her Lotto ticket.
She found out that she had won a $1 million division one prize draw.
Overcome with emotion the winner said that her good fortune couldn’t have come at a better time.
“I’m shaking like a leaf, things like this just don’t happen to people like me,” the winner exclaimed.
“Times have been tough; this has come at the best time ever.”
When ask how she will spend her winnings, the generous winner said that her husband is first on her list for something nice.
“My husband is first on my list; I will treat him to something really nice.
“I will get the money right before my birthday, so I am going to celebrate in style this year,” the winner added.
Banora Point’s Wednesday Lotto winner won a $1 million division one prize with a four game autopick ticket that cost just $2.30.
