Andrews sisters Tribute

The Andrews Sisters Tribute Band are three sassy divas – Cherryn Lomas, Chrissy Bowden and Kate Wighton with the lively Elegant Swing band.
Together the gals are bringing back the gorgeous three-part harmony toe-tapping tunes of the Andrews Sisters! “Boogie Woogie” on the dance floor; reminisce with “Rum ’n’ Coca Cola” and all aboard the “Chattanooga Choo Choo”.
A show guaranteed with fun and frolics! There’s something about the “Andrews Sisters” songs.
The four-piece band keeps everyone toe-tapping and also knows how to keep the energetic swing beat playing!
The Andrews Sisters were the “sweethearts” of WWII and in this tribute, they wear the authentic SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) uniforms. These are the uniforms of the peacekeeping force the Americans wore in Europe from February 1944 onwards.
In 2007 they worked at QPAC; the Butterfly Ball at the Convention Centre Oct 2008 and 2009; Community Centre, Maryborough Town Hall; Gympie Rotary Club; and other functions with the Glenn Miller Tribute band.
