Anti graffiti plan

Tweed Labor have announced action plan to combat graffiti in our community.
“Graffiti is not a victimless crime,” Labor candidate for the council elections Reece Byrnes said.
“It costs businesses, councils and residents time and money.
“No member of our community deserves to feel unsafe because of this crime.”
Fellow candidate Michael Armstrong agreed and explained, “We need a Council that takes criminal Graffiti seriously and takes action to fix it.
“The Tweed Labor team will work with all levels of government, residents, local businesses and youth organisations to tackle criminal graffiti.”
Tweed Labor’s Action Plan includes a response team to clean up graffiti and an education campaign so our kids understand the seriousness of graffiti as a crime.
