iPad for Caitlin

At a recent meeting of the Lions Club of Terranora Lakes, members were introduced to Caitlin Woolley and her mother Melanie.
Caitlin is a nine-year-old with Down Syndrome and attends Centaur Primary School.
Her main aim at present is to improve her speech and maths ability.
Her family are committed to assessing Speech Therapy through the Better Start government program and it was felt that she could benefit from an IPad with the appropriate software.
The members of the Lions Club investigated the situation and, on behalf of the local community, agreed to provide the iPad to Caitlin.
Caitlin was thrilled with the presentation and had prepared a thank you speech for the occasion.
Members of the Lions Club were impressed with Caitlin and enjoyed their thank you hugs.
