Cudgen SLSC thanks supporters

There were politicians and bank managers, brick salesmen and banana growers and everyone in between, as Cudgen Surf Life Saving Club took time out to thank their supporters.
In what has been a big year for the club, which included hosting their second State Titles in a row and watching their beach fall prey to erosion, president Adam Mills acknowledged that they couldn’t have got through without a little help from their friends.
And so, at the Club on Friday afternoon, after lunch,, they presented plaques to say thanks to those businesses, organisations and gold card members who had helped out.
The club’s supporters included Shoobridge Transport, ABC Brick Sales, Solo Resource Recovery, Noel Graham Farm Machinery, Cudgen Leagues Club, Kingscliff Bowls Club, Markwell’s Deep Sea Fisheries, Imperial Hotel, Murwillumbah, J H Williams and Sons, Tweed Shire Council, Sub Tropical Bananas, Summerland Credit Union, State Member for Tweed Geoff Provest, Federal Member for Richmond Justine Elliot, Brian Lewis, Kingscliff Lions Club, QSM Sports, Westpac Kingscliff, Southern Cross University, Command Building Services, Dial before you Dig, Cudgen Surf Club Old Boys, Nortec, Employment and Training, Tweed Coast Weekly and Chinderah Motors.
