Faulty performance proves perfect

Interactive Theatre International presents… Faulty Towers the Dining Experience.
The internationally acclaimed show from Brisbane, tours the world’s arts centres and theatres non-stop and was having a one night only show at Currumbin RSL in late June. However the show sold out in record time and as such the Club has re booked this fantastic experience for a second show on Thursday, July 19.
Enter the world of the snobbish, manic Basil, his domineering wife Sybil, and their hopeless language-challenged waiter, Manuel.
Be one of the steady stream of bemused guests trying to make Manuel understand what it is you want; ask for an ‘ice bucket’ and you may just be presented with a ‘nice bucket’; a simple procedure like opening a bottle of wine can become a huge drama, and maybe during all this, you might get some service – Faulty style of course.
Everything that can go wrong will – in fact they can best be described as organised chaos!
It takes a lot of courage for performers to take on the roles created and made famous by John Cleese and Connie Booth in the cult-status television series “Fawlty Towers”, but now in their 15th year of performing the well-loved characters, the members of the Interactive Theatre International team have become known as, arguably, the best Fawlty Towers impersonators in the world.
This pitch-perfect tribute to Fawlty Towers features all the best gags of the TV series and a 3-course meal. In a masterful piece of theatre cunningly disguised as chaos, the audience are the diners and Sybil, Basil and Manuel their warring waiters. Interactive to the core, only a third of the show is scripted, so it’s fresh every time.
