Digital Hub start date announced

The highly anticipated Armidale Digital Hub will be open for the community on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
Armidale Dumaresq Council recently engaged the New England Institute of TAFE to provide subject matter and expert teachers to deliver the free courses offered in the Digital Hub.
Leah Cook, Armidale Digital Hub Program Manager, said it is great to be working with such a friendly and knowledgeable team.
“The centre will have dual-boot technology so that participants can choose to train using Windows or Apple Mac operating systems,” said Ms Cook.
The Armidale Digital Hub will offer a range of free facilities including training courses, technical advice and one-on-one sessions.
Group Training Courses will be run on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30am, 1.30pm and 4pm; each session is two hours.
Community members are invited to drop in to the Armidale Digital Hub from Wednesday, April 11, to participate in the range of free services offered at 4 Cinders Lane, Armidale. For bookings or more information on Armidale Digital Hub, please phone ADC on (02) 6770 3634 or email digitalhub@armidale.nsw.gov.au.
