Noble Park in the Pink

A cancer fundraiser held at Noble Lakeside Park by the park’s Social Club on Saturday, June 23 has raised almost $3000 for cancer research.
The evening featured entertainment by the duo “UPSTAGE” and a great night was had by all.
The big fundraiser was the raffle which featured 27 prizes donated by Local Businesses, the clubs within the park and by some of the residents. As well as the raffles there were pink cup cakes for sale, balloons, a trivia competition, a blind auction and a silver coin penalty for those who did not wear pink.
In the end the raffle, drawn by two very special ladies Johanna and Dorothy who are facing their own adversities, raised $1002.85 with the total for the night coming to $
The committee of President Cecleigh Mann  Vice president Edna Doherty, Secretary Carol Edwards, Treasurer Maureen Camp, Bridget Baker, Lynn Smith, Sheila Patterson and Trish Nitschke worked really hard to put the evening together.
