Kids can do it all at Tweed Heads PCYC

Kids Can Do is the new catch cry of the Tweed Heads PCYC offering heaps of great activities for kids and people of all ages.
With the London Olympics just about upon us, it’s a great time to get active & have fun.
Get some bounce in your life with basketball. We’re about to get underway with another competition catering for u8s, u10s & u12s running to December on Wednesday afternoons.
We’re also about to commence a new self defence program for kids under the Kids Can Do banner.
Catering for kids 6-12 years, it will provide an introduction to a variety of martial art techniques as well as personal safety strategies in a fun, physical and educational program.
In addition, we also offer judo, have tae kwon do about to commence, and for teens & adults we have daito ryu ju-jitsu (try to repeat that fast).
So you think you can dance?
We’ve got hip hop/jazz on Thursday afternoons (for 6 years & above) and a variety of dance classes including tap and jazz on Saturday mornings.
We’re also recommencing discos on the first Friday of the month for primary school kids (8-12 years) with the next happening on Friday 3rd August from 6.30 – 8.30 pm and only $5.
A new term of gymnastics is also getting underway offering kindy gym (for kids 2-5 years), gym for beginners, levels classes, rhythmic gym and gymtensity which is a mix of fitness and gymnastics techniques for teens and adults.
Boxing classes catering for 10 years & above are now being conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 4.30 – 6.30 pm.
We also provide a great birthday party venue catering for all ages and can offer affordable disco parties and as well as other function options.
For adults we also have a well equipped fitness gym, as well as seniors’ activity classes and have some new fitness and activity programs in the pipeline.

PCYC AGM
The Tweed Heads PCYC is also conducting its Annual General Meeting on Monday 23rd of July commencing at 6 pm to review the Club’s operation for 2011and to elect a new advisory committee for the next 12 months.
