Ella’s day of games

When the three-year-old granddaughter of one of their long-serving players and committee member was diagnosed with cancer two months ago, the Tweed Valley Kings and Kingscliff Football Clubs decided to help out.
The groups have banded together to hold a “Day For Ella” at Kingscliff Tweed Valley Kings and Kingscliff Football Club on August 26 from 10am at the Kingscliff Soccer grounds.
Ella is the three-year-old granddaughter of Debbie Styles, who has put in long hours as a committee member and currently plays for TVK Div Two side.
She was diagnosed with cancer two months ago and is currently undergoing treatment in Brisbane.
“As a community, we have organised a fun day of football to raise some funds to assist with the ongoing expenses,” the committee members said.
The day will consist of senior members of TVK and Kingscliff FC giving something back to the junior members of the club.
There are fun activities scheduled for the day, including the famous Viva inflatable soccer pitch, fun small sided games and a barbecue and more.
