Re candidate Youngblutt’s claims, “we would like to set the record straight”. A good start would be to not treat the community as morons pretending he and his mate are independents despite their National Party affiliations.
Under his banner he promotes fellow National Party member Polglase, Carolyn Byrne, Jayne Henry and Bruce Campbell groups supporting, “other legal land uses including extractive resources” (e.g. coal seam gas(CSG).
The Federal National Party leader, Warren Truss in the Tweed last week was promoting that CSG companies had learnt some lessons, now making sure communities were getting a share of revenue that was coming from these developments!
We need to remember Youngblutt and Polglase are in fact National party members simply conning the community they are independents. At the end of the day their masters rule and this party is in coalition as the current government in NSW.
Should CSG mining infiltrate our shire it will indeed be these politics that will have a devastating impact on our tourist/agricultural industries, land/water resources, environmental assets and future generations.
We need to turn the tide to a progressive council that will represent ALL of the community independent of the big end of town and politics.

True Blue Independent Candidate
