A leading American expert on growing local prosperity, Michael H Shuman, will be guest speaker at the inaugural Tweed Shire Council Business Breakfast.
The inaugural event will be held at Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club, from 6.30am (for a 7am start) to 8.15am on Tuesday, September 25.
Michael will present case studies from his involvement in many regional economic development programs in the USA.
He will discuss his experience in finding new, cost-effective pathways for local investment and the kind of reforms that could boost jobs and economic development in Australia. Michael holds degrees in Law, Economics and International Relations from Stanford University.
Tickets for the event, which includes breakfast, are $20 and booking is essential by Thursday, September 20.
