Congratulations to the Federal Government for being involved in a new medical facility in South Tweed Heads and in the same year ensuring that it will be fully untilised with patients.
I would humbly suggest that the facility should be staffed by doctors who specialise in children and elderly respiratory problems, skin complaints and hearing ailments.
I am sure the new wave of boat people will not be expected to live in the same polluted atmosphere that the people of Tweed South, West and Banora Point will be subjected to in the coming year.
